Israel

Age 12 – male

Israel is a young boy carrying the weight of unimaginable trauma. Branded a “sorcerer” by his maternal family following the tragic death of his younger sister, he sought refuge with his father, only to find himself subjected to severe abuse at the hands of his half-brothers. This compounded the psychological torment he endured after being blamed for his sister’s death, a charge he does not comprehend.

Forced onto the streets, Israel has struggled to rebuild his life. Despite his quiet demeanor, he has shown remarkable resilience in adapting to his new environment at the orphanage. His academic progress is a testament to his inner strength, but his emotional scars run deep. He remains withdrawn and guarded, making it difficult to understand the depths of his suffering.
